mysql-replikation – Could not parse relay log event entry

Wenn in mysql Slave_IO_Running läuft, Slave_SQL_Running aber nicht, dann spricht viel dafür, dass das aktuelle slave relay log defekt ist.
show slave status \G sieht dann z.B. so aus:

mysql> show slave status \G

Last_Error: Relay log read failure: Could not parse relay log event entry. The possible reasons are: the master's binary log is corrupted (you can check this by running 'mysqlbinlog' on the binary log), the slave's relay log is corrupted (you can check this by running 'mysqlbinlog' on the relay log), a network problem, or a bug in the master's or slave's MySQL code. If you want to check the master's binary log or slave's relay log, you will be able to know their names by issuing 'SHOW SLAVE STATUS' on this slave.

Um den Fehler mit dem aktuellen binlog zu beheben, reicht es, das Log auf die richtige Position zu setzen. Entscheidend sind die Werte für Relay_Master_Log_File und Exec_Master_Log_Pos.

Relay_Master_Log_File: mysql-bin.000647
Exec_Master_Log_Pos: 52555768

Um die neue Position zu setzen:
stop slave;
reset slave;
change master to master_log_file='mysql-bin.000647', master_log_pos=52555768;
start slave;

Hinweis:reset slave; löscht master.info, relay-log.info und alle relay log files. Manuelles aufräumen in /var/lib/mysql ist also angesagt.
